THINGS TO DO IN DUBAI- PART 2

Malls of Dubai

Dubai Mall - it is one of the largest malls in the world by total area. It has a ice rink, huge aquarium, small amusement park and also connected to the world’s tallest building the Burj Khalifa. You can spend an entire day and not cover the entire length of the mall. It is also home to the famous dancing fountains best viewed from top of the Burj.

China court, Indian court, Persia court, Tunisia court and Andalusia court. The mall is not just good for shopping the décor of each court is worth seeing. Global Cuisine

With over 100 nationalities living in this amazing city Dubai has become a culinary paradise; a melting point of amazing cuisines. From the best of fine dining Michelin star restaurants to amazing street food, Dubai has it all. I had my first bite of sushi and ate camel meat the very first time while in Dubai.

Atlantis, The Palm

Is a stunning sea side resort in Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. For those of you who haven’t hear of Palm Jumeirah, it’s the artificially created island made in the shape of a giant palm. Atlantis is one of the most iconic hotels in the Emirates and it’s a must visit. Not everyone can afford to stay at this ultra-luxury resort but you can defiantly visit the resort, have a meal in one of the many restaurants, and check out the aquarium or even spend a day at the water park. If you book in advance you can get a double room for about 350 USD.

Things to Do in Dubai- Part 1

Enclosed by the Persian Gulf on one side and the shifting sands of the Arabian Desert lies the beautiful city of Dubai, the largest emirate in the United Arab Emirates. In the last 25 years Dubai has exploded from a small trading port to the biggest commercial hub of the Middle East. This is a city that has spared no expense in building its infrastructure; beautiful skyscrapers that adorn the skyline, a world class metro system links the business districts and malls the size of football stadiums filled with the biggest names in fashion making it a mecca for tax free shopping. I have listed down some of my favourite things to do in Dubai starting with the desert safari.

Desert Safari

Dubai Holiday
Speeding up the sand dunes in 4*4 roll caged SUV's, having a barbecue dinner at a desert camp  with live belly dance performance; whats not tot like! There are a lot of tour operators that have different desert safari packages and the cost will depend on the SUV of your choice and the duration of the safari. There are even packages for overnight stay although I would not recommend it. Most of the tours will pick you up from a the city and a 40 minute ride later you are in the edge of the desert. This is where the fun begins !

Top of the World – Burj Khalifa

A ride up the world’s fastest elevator to the top of the tallest building to watch the world famous fountain show should defiantly be on everyone’s bucket list. I did an exclusive post a while back, you can check it out HERE.
