Back in 2010 I was on assignment at a thermal Power Plant in a remote village in the outskirts of Mukhed, Maharashtra. These are some of the photos I took during my long early morning walks through the sunflower fields adjoining the plant.
First time visiting a Gurudwara(Sikh house of worship), it was a serene experience.People from all walks of life, the rich the poor all come here to worship, learnt the Sikh faith and take part in religious ceremonies. A Gurudware is also a community centre and offers food, shelter, and companionship to those who need it. Shri Hazoor Sahib Gurudwara is located on the banks of the River Godavari at the city of Nanded in the state of Maharashtra, Western India.
